Eminence Texas Heat speaker........

anyone use or own the Eminence texas heat speaker? i've been wanting to try one out for heavy riffs on a Engl because i'm tired of the vintage 30 sound. Are they pretty good? Any other Eminence speakers you reccomend over it for modern heavy tones?

I've heard them described as being a cross between the Tonker and Swamp Thang, but that doesn't help you much. lol

Much as I hate The Gear Page, they have a lot of knowledgeable people about Eminence Speakers over there. The guy who recorded the demo clips on Emi's site posts there as well.

I've been kinda partial to the G12T-75 in the Marshall 1960B that i've been using. I like 'em better than the V30s.

i'm just sick of that buzzy sound pushed celestions get. i've always used celestions and i want something different.

I actually have 2 8 ohm Eminence Man O War( G12T-75 equivilent) speakers (like new)
I'd trade for 2 Vintage 30's
