Are their any cheap Harmonizers (non-eventide)??

I am never going to afford an eventide but love a harmonized sound. I have tried the digitech whammy but found it dire.

All these Digitech units are powered by IVL Technologies (Eventide guts). These are all discontinued, but they are the poor man's Eventides.

does the eclipse have more processing power than the GTR4000, and the same quality of effects? Is the interface the same or totally different? And does it have the same number of effects.......or the same and then a lot more?

I don't know if this is true, but i read somewhere that in the Eclipse you can't create custom harmony scales, while in the H3000 series you can. Someone can confirm this?

does even the H3000 series have more flexibility and process power than units like a G-force?

I found a cheap(ish) harmonizer that I am gonna save my pennies for its a Rocktron intellifex it seems very good value becuase I use alot of delays and reverbs as well as the harmonizing and pitchshift functions.

yea

I had one of those intelliflex's. The boss pedal doesn't harmonize truely like an eventide does. A lot of guys are usin gthe eclipse in their live rigs lately.

..

Petrucci for one, and at a few of my past shows I've seen the guys with them I have to look back as i take a picture of everybodies rig when I'm working a show. I know somebody at G3 was using it because they had 2 of them in their rack I'll check the pic and see which band/guy it was .

I have the Boss HR-2 and I love it! There is a teensy bit of latency but not enough to get one's knickers in a knot - if you mix the harmony note(s) to 75% you won't even notice it. And despite what the manual says, I've had incredible good fortune in playing full six-note chords into it and getting lush complex harmonies out. At about ten per cent of the price of an Eventide, they're a pretty good deal! *LOL*

i just got my first ever eventide. I decided to lash out and get the DSP7000
All i can say, is that i'm never looking back! I'm saying good bye to 98% of my pedals. Eventides are a whole new world to me, but it is a sweet world to be in!!
