Favorite Fender Amp??

Do you have a Fender Amp??

If you could pick one, what would it be and what are the ups and downs about it.

If I could pick ANY one, it'd be the Cyber-Twin for versatility. Only downside is it's a hybrid, not 100% tube. And a bit of $$$. I also like the Vibro-King and the Stage 1600.

I'm not much of a huge fan of fender amps.
when It comes to amps, I like to use Carvin.

I have a Carvin Vintage Tube series (50 watt tube) and a Carvin Legacy stack, (100 watt tube).

I have used the Fender Deville, and I liked it, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as my Carvin.

For clean tone you can't beat a Fender Twin..... got a "73" I've used for years... still going strong! So using it with an A/B box or two along with other amps for OD rhythm and lead tone is the best way to go.

That's unless you're tight on budget and space. Then, just a good modeling pedal and a powerful enough combo amp or head & cabinet is all you need.

But that's JMHO.... YMMV!

I have a Fender Power Chorus I got about 15 years ago. It is kind of deceiving, because it didn't sound so "heavy" when playing through it, but for some reason, it sounded awesome on recordings. It definitely did the trick, though. I also used to get a lot of comments on it when playing out, people were always wondering what my settings were.

It also has a great clean channel, but the clean on my Koch Twintone is hands down the best I've heard.

Tossup between a Fender Deluxe for bluesier gigging, and a Blues Jr. for recording.

Hell, make it the Blues Jr, actually. 15 watts, great liquid overdrive, traditional Fender clean, and a 12" speaker. It's perfect for pushing the output section for bluesier breakup.
