Forgive me if I'm not in the correct catagory. Anyways, Fear Factory's tone, I'm a huge FF fan, they are my favorite band... Dino's guitar tone, is easy to match, I've got that down. Dino's gone, and Christian moved to guitar... now, Christians sound is amazing, but I cannot match it for the life of me. It sounds like hes got tons of mid with lots of high, and little low. I know he uses Marshall and I don't have any Marshalls nor can I afford any right now. I have a Crate GX1200 Head, which is very very sweet btw, and for distortion pedals (as of rgiht now), I have an Ibanez Smash Box and an old DOD
Death Metal. Any know how I can match or at least get close to Christians sound? Also, are there any other good distortion pedals you can recommend for me that are great with a lot of range (sound and tone wise)? I've spent a lot of time trying to match or get close, but no luck
