I've got a lot of pedals for effects that i'm using. I am also playing through a
fender twin reverb amp. As you know, there is no built in effects loop in this vintage amplifier. So, i'm trying to setup all my pedals to where the distortion, wah, whammy,
pitch shifter are hooked up to my guitar and straight to the amplifier.
And then i would want all the chorus, delay, reverb, flanger, tremolo, eq, enhancer etc...pedals to be hooked up through an effects loop. My problem is that the fender twin doesn't have an effects loop send/return.
I notice there are two input jacks for both the "normal" and "vibrato" channels on the fender twin.......why is there two jacks??
And there is a jack in the back upper right hand corner with no label under it......what is this jack for?
How can i setup my pedals this way, when there is no effects loop on the amp itself. I have the boss psm-5, but how can i utilize this pedal when my guitar is already plugged in the first set of pedals.......which is going straight to the amp?
what if i added a whirlwind A/B box.......that could split the guitar signal into two paths.........this way i could feed one through the first set of effects to the amp....and then the other signal to the psm-5 (effects loop).
Will this work?
I'd probably throw in one......maybe two vht valvulators(one for each set of pedals) to compensate for the signal/tone loss.
Does anyone know if this will work? Or if you have a better idea, please let me know.....
