Final amp decision

Finally I decided thet I would go either for an Engl (screamer, thunder powerball, depending on the price) or a Mesa Mark 4. I can get the screamer for 850, without switch (combo) or wait until the Mesa auction finishes (it costs 330 at the moment) there is another one that costs 1025 and finally a head that is 800 at the moment but says reserve not met, what should I go for? I am more a progressive guy and love petrucci's tone and even Lamb of God's raw tone, but I also like that chuga sound. I may have 1150 dollars at the most to expend. Tell me your opinion, which one as better quality or better tone, I dont care that much for light crunch, but for cleans, mid distortion and high gain, always wanted a mMark amp, but I have heard some Engls and liked them
