Finally you can see it!
Well i finally got around to taking pictures of my custom built amplifier. It was built by a friend of mine, Mr. Ed Quidley. He does top notch work and is the nicest guy you'll meet. The amp pushes about 20 watts when in pentode mode and can back down to 7-8 while in triode mode. There is also a tight/open switch in the back. Tight is great for a no holds barred marshall sound and open is recommended for matchless type cleans. The EQ is standard bass/mid/treble with a brightness knob that is somewhat like the top cut on vox amplifiers. The master volume and brightness when turned all the way up are completely out of the circuit. It has two inputs on the front (normal/hi-gain) and a fully functional effects loop. There is also a footswitch included with gain and boost functions. Also, impedence selection and two speaker outs complete the back panel. The tubes are 3 12AX7 for preamp and phase inversion with 2 EL84s pumping the power. I can tell you that i've never been pleased more with an amp. For 1400 USD with a matching 1X12 (Celestion V30) cab, i think it can't be beat. I can't stop playing through this thing and knew that you jemsiters would appreciate it.
Now for the pics!:
Opinions are welcome and appreciated! I can't record soundclips because of lack of studio equipment. It's got a very marshall type distortion (but lower wattage so tube overdrive is very attainable without killing your ears) and a great matchless style clean.

Your friend has a great name for building oddball stuff! It at least looks pretty nice. The white piping on the front is a good touch. Maybe everyone can call you up and you can play a song for us. hahaha

This looks great! And it looks like it sounds even better, if you know what I mean - it has those boutique cosmetics going...

Re: Finally you can see it!
Congratulations!
This amp is quite interesting to me because it looks like
the amp that a friend if mine built for me few months ago.
