First retube , what should i buy?

Hey d0000des

Next month , im going to completely retube my entire setup (EXPENSIVE ), which is also my first tube/rack setup ala Triaxis , 2:90 , ADA mp1 3tm.

For the 11 12ax7s i was going to try these Tung Sol golds.

As for the 2:90 i have the choice of 8 6L6 or EL34 as its not biased.
I understand these are brittish and american sounds, but obviously that means nothing to me unless i actually hear them. It also bodes the half and half 6l6 el34 mix question.

Anyone who could inform me or make suggestions, hit me up a reply.
I usually play with pretty highgain sounds;

I retubed my MKIV with dougs retube kit and it sounds amazing. Pretty inexpensive too. I actually went to his house to pick the tubes up. He and his son are really nice people. Picked up a set of winged =C= EL34's for the outside sockets while I was there. I would think his preamp kit would sound great in the Traxis.
