Flexi 50

Anyone in here have tried the THD Flexi 50 ? What you guys think about it? I have heard some really good comments about the versatility and the kind of tones you can get from this piece of equipment. Being more specific, id like to get some kind of Greg Howe ,Scott Henderson or Richie Kotzen kind of tone, a little bit vintage (A LITTLE!) but warm and with balls, this amp will do the trick?
Oh, i know that the tube changing in this amp is a breeze, which tube combination would you recommend me for the tone i want.

I heard some stuff that Ed DeGenaro (THD artist relations guy and an amazing player) did with it and it sounded awesome. THD seems to be putting out some quality product

Re: Flexi 50

They're very versatile amps so I would think you should be able to get the sort of tone you're after.
I've played through a THD Univalve and it was an amazing sounding amp! The THD amps have a built-in Hotplate too which is an added bonus.

If you're thinking about getting one you should check out the THD Forum. You often see people selling used ones on there with a selection of tubes included. You'd be able to work your way through the different tubes then and find your perfect sound.

Here's the link to the Forum. It's called the Univalve Forum but it deals with the other THD amps too.

Re: Flexi 50

Do yourself a favor and check out cornfords as well. Kotzen plays them now as does our friend Mr. Balducci. Simply sick sounding amps. The hellcat is the one I'm lusting after, but I've got better things to do with $3 large...like not spend it.

Great tone...they have some samples online but I think of just the harlequin and mk50
