Form-fit case?? RG fit?

I'm looking for a case to fit my RG. I've seen the odd one online like a prestige case. Rectangular but molded fit inside. Who can help me?
I'm almost finished my RG and want it to be a moment of glory when I open the case to pull her out every time.

What case am I looking for?

get a uv1000c. you'll go oooh or wow, everytime you open it. its just a classy case. plush red(or pink) velvet, cut for an rg.

+1 on UV1000c. You can also buy the new Team J Craft case from an Authorized dealer if your RG is an AANJ model. The MC100 cases aren't bad either but the UV1000C is my first choice

I really like the UV1000c too, but I wish it had the pick reservoir like the MC100. Plus, you can't fit a pack of strings in it either.

What I'm going to start doing is getting either a Hardigg Storm case or a Pelican Case that's the right size for a guitar and cutting the foam to match. You'll have a case that you can load your guitar in and throw it off a building and your guitar will be fine. I've been using them for my 3-gun stuff for years. One case will fit a Shotgun, and AR, and a Glock with room for mags and optics. Heavy tho...

They come with several layers of rigid foam and you just cut the layers as needed to get your shape/depth. It's really slick.

The only way you'll buy a TJC case from a dealer is if he's splitting it up from a guitar. Which means somebody would be buying a guitar and not getting their free case.

The case is made to fit AANJ only. They are VERY form fit. I tried to put my 777VBK in one and there was no way it would have fit.


Rich, I'm sure you are probably right but I had a dealer tell me he could order me a case. I didn't order it and didn't ask if he was parting it from a guitar or not. He had a list price of $179 which lead me to believe they could be bought if there is actually a list price on the case. Too bad if they aren't available

Nah, my local dealer has never even carried UV1000c cases, which is who didn't know TJC from JC

It was Eric's Guitars (not authorized dealer). I haven't seen him around here or heard from him in a couple years. I had goten my RGA121 from him a couple years ago and the case was damaged in transit and he said he could order me another one. I don't know the specifics and never ordered it but my asumption was they are available to order seperately, just an assumption. If you say that can't be done then I'll take your word for it

The UV1000 is a nice case, and it is very pretty inside.

They are nice but... have you ever seen a G&G case? Those are VERY nice cases and come in all sorts of colors and can be custom ordered in different coverings and finishes. I had a nice one in black for a nice MusicMan Sting Ray bass I used to own.

Fender makes some very nice cases along the lines of the G&G cases in lots of colors and a few different coverings too.
