Fulltone Fulldrive II

What do you think of this pedal? It is always compared to the Tubescreamers but better?
What do you prefer and how do you use it? WHat kind of gain and tones are possible?

Re: Fulltone Fulldrive II

Not a huge fan of the Fulltone Fulldrive II. However, one interesting thing to note is that since the fulldrive was based off the TS9 design as is the Boss SD-1, you can actually more or less mod a Boss SD-1 into a TS-9/TS-808 or a Fulltone Fulldrive. It just comes down to whether or not you are willing to mod your own pedals, but have you seen the price difference between a cheapo Boss SD-1 and the boutique Fulltone Fulldrive? A $50 pedal plus maybe $5-$10 worth of electronic parts sounds a whole lot more economical to me (plus think about the learning experience!)
