G System and Dual Rec. Problem

Hi, so here is my problem:

I have a TC Electronic G System through a 2x12 Mesa Cabinet and a 3 channel Dual Rectifier.

For some reason, the G System effects disappear and then come back while I play. For instance, I will be playing on channel 2 with the delay and reverb on the G System, then all of a sudden, the volume through the amp decreases and the effects (delay/reverb) disappear.
Then, randomly, the volume will normalize to the level I set it at and the effects come back.

Is this a problem with my cabinet speakers? It doesn't seem like a G System problem because it speakers crackle a little when this anomaly arises.

Any thoughts?!?

Re: G System and Dual Rec. Problem

the G System is running through the Dual Rec's fx loop along with a TS 909, a T Rex Bloody Mary, and a EVH Phase 90 in the front of the amp via the G System's own loops.

are you suggesting there is a problem with the amp's fx loop itself or my cable connections?

Always check your cables first. The second thing I would look at is the tubes, especially the FX loop tube.

What Elcid said...

Can't be the speaker cab,... your effects wouldn't disappear.
