Gear Review: KASHA Overdrive

Hi All!

I'm fairly new to this forum (though I've written a couple of blog articles on JemSite in the past), and thought I'd share a link to my review of the brand new KASHA Overdrive pedal from KASHA Amplifiers. This is just about the best overdrive I've ever played!

Rock on!

Re: Gear Review: KASHA Overdrive

Could you please clear this out for me: if I want to change from classic to melt within the song, can I do it from the switch?
Having 4 channels without a foot switch doesn't seem practical to me.

Please post some sound clips. I found none on youtube.

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the welcome!

In answer to your question, no, not from the footswitch, only from the knob. However, I got a little excited while writing my review and forgot to mention that the pedal, very much like an amp, is incredibly responsive to both pick attack and volume knob adjustments. The idea behind the pedal is that you pick a voicing that's appropriate for your song, then use volume knob adjustments on your guitar to affect the overall gain.

As for sound clips, once I have the pedal, I will post clips on my site. As I mentioned in my article, I was only able to test the pedal in a music store and couldn't keep the one John had - it was his demo model.
