ground trouble " I think"

when pluged into my podxt live, with head phones I get a lot of noise. I I touch the strings, or the trem the noise does not go away. If I touch the input jack, or any metal on the pod xt housing it goes quiet. Is this a ground issue? The ground seems to be solidly attached to the spring claw on the back.

That's what it sounds like to me. I wouldn't know what to do besides having it looked at. Thats wierd it doesnt go quiet when you touch the other things you mentioned.

Does it only happen with headphones or is this something that happens without them as well?

Um - have you checked that the ground wire hasn't detached itself from the back of the pot? (I know - dumb question......)
