Half stack

hey guys i was wondering,isit actually worth it if i get
a Laney Hardcore MXD120 stack?im getting half of it 1st..
ppl say that laney's got not much distortion..must have a pedal..
what do you think guys?
my current amp is only a measley Laney Tube TT20 with a MT-2 pedal..

Hopefully you've played it and know whether it has too much or not enough distortion for you. What do you think?

Just a tip, ever tried using a compression pedal to boost the signal to an amp that doesn't QUITE have enough distortion?
