Highway 1 bass sales

I've noticed a few places on the Internet are blowing out the 'old' Highway 1 basses if anyone has been thinking of getting a nice bass for cheap. American Musical is one such place.

On its way! I am getting ready to buy a decent bass, and way looking for something and these caught my eye. I've heard that some serious buffing will also bring the Highways right up to a nice clear shine if you don't like the satin nitro finish.
