Based on extensive research...... the paint affects the electromagnetic properties around the Duracell battery if you place the battery in with the positive post towards the front and set it up facing due North. So yes, according to Mr. Eric Johnson it sounds different.

has any one got any sound or vid clips with a bad horsie or a b/h2. or any vai tracks with it on. ive seen his pedalboard and he seems to use a crybaby instead?

Iv'e had both Vai peddles and didn't care for them. I really love my Boss AW-3 Dynamic Wah, gets any wah sound you want (and then some) and you don't have to stand in one place untill your leg goes numb................

But Bob...... It's part of the "Collector Artist Series" and even comes with..... you guessed it "a one of a kind", original, Steve Vai signature and special serial number!

(BTW have you got any extra cash I can barrow) I think I'll buy them all and corner the market!
