i just got my mesa!!!

picked up a mesa boogie blue angle dual rectifier at the local GC for 699! AWESOME TONE!!! wow, i didnt know it was possible to have that much tone, plus i picked up a boss metal zone to go with for the times i want to go into a triple recifier mode. only 38 watts runnin all the tubes at once but with the 4x10 setup it is loud! any questions or comments about this model that i should know about?

Congrats on the new amp! I've never played a Blue Angel before, but if it's anything like the Mesas I've owned (Nomad, Mark IV, Triaxis/2:90), it will bring you many years of joy!

i think its based off the mark iv, i also tried a heartbreaker, it was pretty nice but the 2x12 setup didnt set me off as much, and that was $999 instead of 699

Yeah, never played a blue angel, but they're supposed to be ridiculously sweet- i guess very vintage-y, kinda like a small fender on steroids... very much about power amp distortion, right?

Sound clips would be cool if you've got a way to record.

Hey, even the thing solo would be cool... I'd imagine it rocks for hendrixy clean stuff...
