. . . . and damn was it heavy!! The thing must have weighed close to a hundred pounds. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but it was like picking up a hundred pound bag of feathers!! And no I didn't buy it . . .

Ha! according to the Vox site it weighs nearly 77 lbs, (are you sure it wasn't their 4x12 cab, that weighs over 90 lbs!! )

Yeah it may have been only 77 pounds. When I lift heavy objects I compare them to 80 lb concrete patio stones, and this amp was right up there. But way more awkward. I mean lifting 80 pounds when it's the size of a patio stone is no problem, I mean it's still heavy but manageable. But the amp was pretty big as well. It's funny, when I'm hanging out in guitar shops I'll walk by the amps, and just pick a few up, to see the weight. It's sort of a funny habit I guess . . .

i used to have a genz benz el diablo100c (212)

it was massive and weighed around 100 lbs.. it was a monster to carry.. i lugged an ac30 (with the nicer speakers) right after lugging the GB and it felt like nothing lol
