Ibanez endorsements

Has anyone here got one? What do they actually do for you, free gear or gear at trade price? What about free mud-wrestling chicks?

I believe that Rob Balducci is an endorsee that frequents the sight.

I know there are some that lurk about and occasionally post, like Rob as Gresh said.

I am pretty confident that the endorsees pay cost on all items. *That is, what it costs the company to build the instrument, not retail prices.

Rob is endorsed by Ibanez and Eventide isn't he??? I think he said he was anyway

click GUITARS in the green menu up top and then "USA Custom Shop". There is a piece about the endorsers during the ibanez circa the glory days (late 80s / early 90s) that can be applied to today.

the endorsement IMHO is not just about free or discounted gear however and is something beneficial to the artist (and ibanez) in more ubiquitous ways... glen

here in chile ibanez and the local distributor picked 5 player of the most popular bands and gave them an endorsement, which consists on half price guitars and a run of posters printed in japan. they got production models, a js1000, a rg7 prestige and one a rg7420...

i suppose mr vai and satch had different deals....lol

Definitely. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with one of the top guitar manufacturers to craft an instrument to your exact needs and specifications. *drool*

Not necessarily. There are many Ibanez endorsees that use modified or customized existing models, not one off custom pieces.

Sure Rob Balducci's got customs, but some of the lower name endorsees don't get that deal, I don't think.

I know someone who got endorced by BMC guitars a while back but I guess I will let him tell you about all that!
