Ibanez stock PUs V7/V8

I've searched through the web but with no results. Does anyone know how much V7 and V8 output level is ? I like their sound, but IMO they don't have gain enough.

Really? I thought they had quite a bit of it. I didn't think that they sounded too bad but I found them to be a bit too unclear for my tastes so my RG550DY now has DiMarzio Evolutions (custom colors) in the neck and bridge and I had a DiMarzio Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues put in the middle. I don't know the output in mV specs but have you tried altering the pickup heights?

id say they had more outputs than a medium output PU but less then a High output PU. kinda in between

Chud, i think he was looking for actual specifications, not a subjective impression of what the V7/V8 output is.

Mike777, I've tried to alter the height of PUs. They aren't so bad, just wanted to know about the specs. That's true, they don't sound too tight !
