Ibanez Valve King pedal?

Has anyone tried the new Ibanez Valve King TK999HT distortion pedal?

The Damage Control seems to be the valve distortion pedal of choice here and I was wondering how the Valve King stacks up. The clips on the Ibanez site sound pretty good to me, but i've never seen a Damage Control, let alone heard one.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd also be interested, because I just emailed Marshall Music and they said you can't get damage control products in South Africa. Much sadness
