If at all, how far does your trem go out of tune?
i don't know if this has been asked before, but it probably has but i can't find it.
i can't see any tremolo staying in exact perfect tune after a dive bomb. i have a rg 570 that is getting setup, it didn't return to neutral(when i pulled up it went sharp, pushed down it went flat) i told the guy about ibanez knife edges being flat and stuff, he said he's never heard about it but he's going to look at it and stuff. my tuner is measured in hz i think, 440 in the middle, 430 to the left, and 450 to the right. going by that meter preferably, or another one, what is the typical amount for a guitar to go out of tune after a pull up or dive? i have an old crapy tuner that is measured in cents, 0 in the middle, negative 50 on the left, and positive 50 on the left(crappy tuner is qwik tune and good one is korg ga 30 i think)just wondering what is typical for going out of tune so i don't get mine back and i'm all worried about the tuning when it might be fine.before, the G string would go up about a quarter or more(quarter is the minimum, usually up about half) of a step while other strings wern't as bad.
i know about the posts and all that, i just got it last saturday. the serial number is F0057900. i think the double zeros mean 2000 but i don't see how i got one that old, and it has the powder cosmo and i don't think that was the hardware finish till around 2001
