Why I want to buy a processor? Because I'm not happy with my amp's sound. I mean bass strings are just so bad... It's like the guitar's sick. It's a marshall avt50. . The amp's good overall, but when i'm trying to get vai-like tone or something satch-y or just something of my own, it doesn't help very much. I want something a little muddy. Though I'd like to have a carvin legacy they are not offered here in Turkey.
So i decided to buy a processor. but i cannot make up my mind. I want a pod but it is said that it's good at amp simulations and the other things suck. GT-6 is fine as well but amp simulation is not very good. So I cannot make up my mind. I'm thinking of getting both of them (pod 2.0 and gt-6) but then I say I could buy a marshall head for that price
Anyway, i would be happy if you could write your recommendations. And I would be happy to hear from other avt50 users, if there are any. If they are happy with the amp etc.
