"Improve the tone of your multi-effects". What's this guy selling?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Improve-th...item19d80aab2a

Any thoughts or is he just going to say "read the manual"?

i was thinking 4 cable ethod but he said no extra cables.
my guess is setting for amp front and turning off sepaker and power amp sims.

Well, not all modelers can do the 4CM. He's probably going to suggest using Line/Phones as the output because of the cab sims.

nah. i got it.
he is sending output of device into effectsloop return as to make the power amp a slave only.bypassing the preamp section of the amp.

Here's some free advice... ditch the guitar amp and run it through a PA and eliminate all the hassles....

If you really love your amp's distortion though, using the effects return works great for using a modeler's effects...

Try plugging your modeler into a high end stereo system and do some tweeking... I guarantee you'll love it.

So does "nah I got it" mean you bought it or you're guessing like everyone else... Or is this thread not about that either?

also that wont even work
if you hook it to effects return only then you get no sound except modeler and not amps distortion. thats the point. when you only run output of device into return you get nothing but signal od unit being amplified but powertubes only.

im not being mean i just hate people being a smarty pants comments. just this one.

The free advice was referencing the fact that the guy was selling the information man... not being a smartass?

Yes I should have been more specific, I didn't mean only using the effects return. I was taking about plugging the guitar into the front end of the amp and running the modeler through the effects send/return of the amp for its effects only...
