In need of a new tuner?

I bought this tuner based on rumors. And I'm happy to say it's the best tuner I've ever used. It's very fast, accurate and easy to read.

Throw away your Korg tuners with +-2 cent accuracy. I promise you your guitar will sound better with this one.

Whoa, that tuner really brings out the huge nerd in me. Do want. I see that you are in Norway, did you get it online somewhere in Europe?

Re: In need of a new tuner?

I ordered it from the site. So shipping was from the US. Worth waiting for. I really don't understand how people can live with Korg tuners (ie. all the other "not so good tuners") live. This one is way faster and more precise. You actually manage to check all strings before the next song starts. And it's a lot easier to read on a stage than the Strobostomp. And cheaper...

Euphor,
I was recommended this tuner by Paul Guy at true temperament, he also said that it was the best he had used and great value for money, i will be buying one when I can justify getting rid of my TU-2 (+-1 cent)

so, did you find it that easy to use ? it looks a bit of a nerdy faff on the website.

Re: In need of a new tuner?

Each tuner is individually calibrated at the factory, whatever that means. I tuned up my old RG410 with this tuner and distorted barré chords sound good. I haven't touched a dial, only stepped on it. As I only use regular tuning anyway. But yes, it's very easy to use. The only, if any, bad thing about it is that you must remove three (maybe four) screws to change the battery. Then again, if you use it on a pedalboard you probably have it powered up without a battery.

I've met Paul, very bright and nice guy. Tried his guitars, great stuff!

Re: In need of a new tuner?

I've got the original StroboStomp and I can't imagine being without it. Hard to describe how much easier and more accurate it is. The korg stuff is good but I always felt my ears were better. The peterson is perfect. I actually have a friend that comes over just to use this thing!
I will say that their customer service sucks though!
