Is this Dodgy?
Saw this on the bay, thought about bidding, seems a bit sus though sellar is in UK. Selling two items, both high bidders in US, the CD player they are selling seems over priced for faulty item.
This case is very tempting though

Also payment is bank transfer, no location or cost for postage!!!

Re: Is this Dodgy?
You are in the UK so you can go personally to close the transaction once you've won.

Re: Is this Dodgy?
I asked where the item was so I could possibly collect it, I've had no reply!
Does this speak volumes?

Re: Is this Dodgy?
When did you ask, has it been a while?
The thing is, if he intends to rip people off, why would he bother doing so by "selling" that thing? It's not worth it. Surely he'd claim to be selling a JEM or something?

Re: Is this Dodgy?
Sent another message near to the end as I was really interested, there was a good 24 hours when I sent the first question to respond. But alas no contact!!!!
The winning bidder was in the US and his Bay account was inactive for 3 years. By the time he pays the shipping and the rubbish exchange rate making the price around $180 it will have cost a small forune.
Still think it was dodgy!

Re: Is this Dodgy?
Well the US buyer has received the case already, and left positive feedback. Thats two days to get from the UK to America. If you look at what the buyer of this product has been buying in the last few days its amazing.
I'm now 100% sure it was a scam, don't know how it works unless its just to work up a good feedback score amongst dodgy people to set high value thefts up.
Just, if you can be bothered have a look at feedback, dormant for two years then loads of activity including Computer stuff, bikes and Instruments!
