Jason Becker signature amp

According to the Jason Becker website, a signature amp is in development. Anyone heard anything about it?

A google search of 'jason becker signature amp' didn't get anything, so I'm assuming it hasn't been in development for too long.

It sounds very interesting though. I wonder how it will turn out.

Jason was never known for his amazing tone, I never liked it until the DLR album. The older recordings sounds like a cheapo distortion box into a solid state amp, drowned with typical 80's reverb.
The playing on the other hand was utterly brilliant.

I kind of liked his overall sound and tone...But of course I suck comparatively speaking, so...

Indeed, Jason Becker is widely known for his abilities (mainly arpeggio fluency), but not for his tone.
I'd say there was simply not enough time for he develop his tone as he could.
