JCM 800 and multi FX/H K Zentera. - Some help and an oppinio

Never worried about that, but maybe somebody could tell me. I use at home a JCM 800 50w 2 x 12 with a korg A3. This amp has only a channel and two inputs (lo and high sensitivity). As i use it at home itīs always in the low sens input, and sounds good with the FX, but when through the high input its pure ****, even turning down the preamp volume (has a pream and a master vol). Is it just the FX setting?Anything wrong with this input?Maybe should i try connect the FX through the direct input?
Apart from this question, what do you think about this amp (JCM)
A friend has just bought a Hughes and Kettner Zentera. Donīt know what to say, neve liked solid state amps. Sounds good but seems something is missing when to its sound. Whatīs your oppinion about this one?
Thanx.

JCM 800 and multi FX/H K Zentera.

Unplug the A3 and plug straight into the JCM's high gain input, voila, you tone should be fixed. *The problem is that you are running delays and reverbs into a high gain channel, they should come after the dirt. *You should be able to back off on the gain and still get a decent sound with your setup though.

Follow the above, it WILL work.

I'll be honest with you ... you have a gem of a combo. *The JCM800 is a very very nice amp. *Don't sell it short quite yet, explore it and explore it well.

Yo tengo el mismo modelo de amplificador, y me duro 6 anos para obtener el oido que yo tengo ahora para apreciar el magnitud de lo que el JCM 800 ofrece.

Usalo consistantamente y busca tus tonalidades con experimentaccion.

Ciao.
