Re: Jemini Pedal

Just listened to the demo on the Ibanez site, what a joke, how many other effects were going on in the background!?! All very subtle but there none the less. Hopefully that'll be enough to trick all the kids into blowing all their minimum wage earnings on this pedal so they can sound just like Steve!

Re: Jemini Pedal

1/5

Tried through an effects unit on bypass, sounds like garbage. Tried through a clean preset, sounds like garbage. Super thin, can't really see how you'd get a good sound out of it. Don't believe the hype.

Equipment used:

- RG 570 w/Evo's

- Digitech 2101

- Mesa 50/50

- Marshall 4x12

Re: Jemini Pedal

wait even on bypass it sounds like crap? You sure your cable isn't messed up that you are using to link the pedal to the amp.

Re: Jemini Pedal

I don't see how a guitar pedal meant to be good can sound crappy on bypass though. Maybe you got a Chibanez pedal hahaha, the inside is really a mashed potato

Re: Jemini Pedal

Is it noisy on bypass or something? How exactly does it sound connected direct to the amp without any other effects? Sustain, frequency response, noise etc?

Re: Jemini Pedal

How much did that rig run you? Sounds good despite the pedal messing it up.

Re: Jemini Pedal

It's been pieced together through the years, I have probably a grand in it. Some of it was used when I got it.

Re: Jemini Pedal

According to the video the left side should be used as a boost to an already dirty channel, did you try that?

Yes, I tried that, the difference was very minor. And if you do that, you'd better have a noise gate.
