JSX Head with blue lights

I just bought a new JSX head from a local guitar store and it has blue LEDs inside it that light the insides up. Have they always had that? It looks absolutely killer. The dealer said that he got them at the NAMM show.

Post useless without pics

I've wanted to mod an original 5150 amp with blue LEDs for over 5yrs now. I still have the extra needed parts to do it if I ever get another 5150.

And NO I haven't seen that on a JSX before. Sounds very cool, blue lights are ALWAYS cool to me.

I will post some pics after work. I didn't know if it was something new that they where doing, or if it was just for the NAMM show.

I bought a sound sensitive neon light strip light last year for about £10 that I velcro to the outside back grill of my JSX head when we gig. Lights up the inside bright blue and looks absolutely wild!

will try to take a pic in the dark this evening and post later.

Haha! I can see what you're saying. Doesn't look like that in the flesh though as the light is sound sensitive so only comes on when you play. To be honest, with stage lighting, the only person who can tell it's there is me anyway (it's so nice to be a nerd!)

This is how the head was purchased from Peavey at the NAMM show. The blue LEDs are on both inside front sides so that they reflect off of the tubes. It looks awesome. I don't know if this is something that they are going to start doing, or if it was just for the show. I took the pictures with the lights off, so I hope they come out.
