Just ordered my new piece of gear!!!

Well, it's Christmas time, I received some money... so I decided to finally order the G-System from TC Electronic!!!

I will recieve it in two weeks right.... can't wait to have it!!

Anyone has some experience with it? I already have a G-Force I used for rehearsal and gigs, but wanted a more convenient set up and the G-System seem to be pretty flexible... for home recording and gigs... Maybe I'll sell the G-Force then if G system works better for me... don't know,...

I'll try to post some sound clips when I have it....

This will now be my home / recording rig:

- Mesa Boogie Triaxis preamp in the insert loop of G System
- G-System
- Damage control Solid Metal tube disto pedal in one loop of the G System
- Going direct in the power stage of my Hughes & Kettner 15W Tube edition

should sound ok I guess!!!

Probably not what you want to hear, but I had all sorts of issues with mine upon getting it. Increase in noise floor, issues with controllers not calibrating, etc. The interface was just counterintuitive enough to be cumbersome. I'm not sure where things went wrong for me, but I also have a Triaxis and using the setup method they suggest, I had nothing but problems. I hate saying that, I really thought it would be the last system I'd ever need. Some of the effects like the speech synth and boost mode are amazing ideas and in some applications probably work very well. Sadly I just couldn't justify keeping it with the amount of setup and adjusting I had to do to make it sound right.

With any luck, the noise issues have been sorted out in the design and updates have resolved the controller issues.

Wow... That makes me somewhat concerned... I hope it will work properly for me... I know at the beginning there was some software issues that have been resolved in the 2.01 version... I hope it will be ok....
