Just wondering.

Would a trade for a marshall JCM2000 DSL100 for a Mesa Dual recto be close? Or would th owner of the marshall have to fork over some cash.

The Marshall was never gigged with and was only used in a room. In an apartment...meaning never really seen 7+ (Even on 4 I get compliants.)

Well, first, I'm not sure whether this belongs in the "buy/sell Auction and reseller forum or not, but if it moves there soon, don't be too surprised

In England, th Marshall guy would have to expect for fork over quite a bit of cash, probably several hundred quid for that sort of trade, simply because of the RRP on the products. The Boogie, is twice the price of the Marshall head over here.

I'd reckon have look on ebay and see what both amps are going for used, then use the difference as a starting point for any financial arangements that'd be needed to make with the swap.

I'd say that the original street price of the MB was closer to the TSL100 instead of the DSL. If their ages and condition are similar, a DSL should be accompanied with some cash to make the monetary value work fairly IMO.
