knife edges


is it possible to replace the knife edges on an edge pro bridge?

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The knife edges are the same on the Edge, Lo-Pro and Edge Pro, which the Edge Pro II shares tons of similarities with.

ED/LP/EP knives can all be replaced. It is not the easiest of jobs and would have a higher difficulty rating, and even higher PITA rating.

just buy a new fulcrum plate and take your bridge apart and rebuild it

use graphite powder as a dry lubricant

You cannot buy a new "fulcrom plate" for an edge pro, of course.

If by "fulcrom plate" you mean the baseplate of the trem, they do not sell them. If you want to know why, call them and ask, but my take would be just like you can't buy a guitar body. If you need to replace the main piece they want you to replace the whole thing.

Of course you could mean something else, who knows, really.

i ordered a replacement fulcrum plate from a site on the internet when i wore my carvin ofr 7 string unit

theres a guy who sold parts from saddles to fulcrums on the net, ill search around, i didnt know it was that hard to get one fo those parts...but i remember in like 02 i got one for my 727

How about you go search for a place you can buy a new Edge Pro baseplate. That should keep you busy for a few years.
