Korg AX1500G?

So I've found a used one locally for RM400 (about $100ish). It's got some light scratches, but nothing serious. I'm this close to buying it, but as always, I'd like to hear what you guys think of it. Pros, cons, etc. I've always wanted an effects pedal w/ seperate EQ settings (the main reason why I sold my X V-Amp). Thanks in advance!

It's a very good pedal, distortions are good, effects are nice and analogue sounding, in all it great value.
only problem i have is tha you cant use the tap delay and reverb at the same time.
you can get pretty much any sound from it.

Re: Korg AX1500G?

I used to have one and couldnt stand the sound on it.

The cleans are ok, but any gain or distortion makes it sound very harsh indeed. Its quite noisy too, and didnt sound very good for recording.

I was well pleased wirh it when i used it first on an old Marhall 15w amp, but as soon as i got something better i realised how noisy it was!

Your best to save up for something better like a Boss GT6, itll last you a heck of a lot longer, and has better effects.

I'm currently waiting for the seller's reply (his address, 'cause I want to try it out first). I'll no doubt buy it.

Have you turn off the cabinet simulator? If you plugin ax1500 to amp you must turn off the cabinet simulator or you will sound horrible...

Yeah i turned that off, but generally the unit is very noisy, lots and lots of hiss when it was plugged into my marshall.

Saying that, my Boss GT6 hisses unless i use it through the FX return, but its nowhere near as noisy as the AX1500.
