Krank Amp

I was flipping out about the sound on these new amps I was reading about and they have update the site durring NAMM and apparently got a bunch of big artists..

"Also, a grip of Artists have joined the KRANK family! Mark Tremoni (CREED), Jim and Mick of Slipknot, ginger from Marilyn Manson, Josh from Motograter, Alex and Randy from FINCH, GGGarth Richardson(Producer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Mudvayne, Chevelle), Rick Ruben (Producer of Slayer, Slipknot, Audioslave, Red hot chili Peppers, ETC), and Stephan Carpenter of the Deftones all have Krank Amps! Thanks to everyone we met, learned from, and are now in business with from the NAMM show, we had a blast."

The fact that those people HAVE Krank amps simply means that Krank GAVE them the amps. The amps that they had at NAMM were very marginal. I'd probably buy a Crate before I'd buy a Krank amp.

I sat down with both the Revolution and Chadwick heads. They just had a very nasal tone to them...very flat sounding. No sparkle or life at all. Not the worst amps I've ever played, but far from the best.
