Landmine Distortion Pedal

Any of you guys try or have the Landmine pedal? I've been thinking about getting one of these to try out, or even an EHX Metal Muff. Any input on either? The only thing that I don't like about the Landmine is that there is no gain control.

Re: Landmine Distortion Pedal

Haven't tried the landmine though but I recommend you another distortion pedal which is IMO the best, the line6 uber metal, Tons of gain and yet smooth as hell

Re: Landmine Distortion Pedal

I tried the Uber Metal a couple weeks ago. I stopped at the GC near me to try a few things out, including an EHX Metal Muff, but the only pedal in the store was dead and they recommended I try the Uber Metal. I wasn't too impressed with it. It does a have a lot of gain, but I'm not really looking for gain. To me, it had that usual tin-can sound at most settings. Thanks for the recommendation though.

You may be pleasantly surprised if you try the DS-1. It can be great depending on the amp you're running it thru.
