Light-Top Heavy--Bottom strings on a Wizard neck?

I usually play 09-42 gauge GHS, but I want to order some LTHB Ernie Ball 10-13-17-30-42-52 packs so I can detune my RG560 to either C or C# standard. I have a couple questions:

1) Will the unbalanced string tension warp my thin (original) Wizard neck?

2) With this gauge, what's an ideal tuning? I normally use 09s in either E or Eb.

I'm pretty sue the heavier gauge strings will not hurt your neck- even in A440 tuning, but drop tuning will reduce tension further so again - I think your neck would be fine.
I've strung 10-56's on lots of wizard necks before.

1) Should be fine... i'm tuned to C standard on an RG550 with custom gauges; 11 at the bottom, 54 on top. Neck's still fine after major readjustments to the truss, saddles, and bridge angle. Still using 3 springs too!

2) standard C# would "feel" proper with the 10 - 52 gauge; standard C might be a little flabby... maybe drop C would balance the 52 with the rest?

I used to string my PGM100JB with 11-49 with standard tuning and had no issues. Using 10-52 will be fine though as with any change in string gauge, you will need to adjust the neck and reset your intonation.

I play 10-52 GHS Boomers on a couple of my RGs with no problems in Standard E and D. I have the trem set up with three springs running parallel too.

Thanks everyone! Well, that's plenty of opinions, I think I will order a few packs and try out a new tuning!

Yep, I've got that exact set on my RG. They're wicked. I'm in standard tuning, so I added a fourth spring to the back . . . I really didn't have to move the claw far . . .
