Line 6 Pod 2.0 - opinions and advice

I know everyone is raving about the POD xt. But now that the Pod 2.0 have really come down in price this week (£99 new in the UK) I was thinking about getting one.

Any Pod 2.0 users out there?

Thanks guys.

The Marcel clip was cool but wasn't crazy about the tone...and it had about as much soul as a tamagochi.

But I think I will invest in one of these. It's just that the XT does so much more...the big question is: Do I really need an all singing all dancing POD XT? No idea...

I used to have one (I sold it to Danny Mills), great value for money for £100 you can't go wrong.

You'll need to have a MIDI interface if you want to transfer tones stored/downloaded onto your PC. You can get a USB MIDI interface for about £35

Hehey! You did indeed mate, and it's fantastic!!! Tbh, I could get by without an amp if pushed (as, indeed, I shall when I go to uni in October) by plugging this into my computer, and a PA for gigs. The sound is incredible, and worth every penny.

Me too. I used to own it. But now I've switched to analog pedals. I dont like digital multi efx (be it Pod XT, GT8, Pod XT Live or etc) because the overdrive lacks power. But that is just me.....
