Line6 Floorboard

I'm looking to buy a Line6 Floorboard for my Flextone II soon, but my local guitar shop is selling them for approx. $400 Canadian. Is this a ripoff? Is there anywhere I can get one cheaper?

I'm not sure of the exchange rate, but $230 US is about the going rate at most U.S. retailers.IMO it is a very high quality piece.Plus, you have the wah and volume pedals, which are quite groovy!

That price is about $50 over what you should pay, if you're talking US prices.

Exchange rate is about $1.50-1.40 USD for every Canadian dollar. But this might not matter when you have to consider the import taxes that the Canadian dealer has to pay.

I'd recommend trying to find one online - used - you can probably get one for about $225 Canadian.

According to this currency converter the exchange rate is:

1.00 USD = 1.54620 CAD

Therefore, $400 CAD = $258.699 USD

Anyways, the basic advice is to go for it? Or should I search around online a bit?

HELP

When I bought my Flextone II, there were many of these on ebay, now there's only two, and neither will ship to Canada from what I can see. Any recommendations as to where to look for this? Or should I just pay the $400?
