Line6 HD500 setups!!!!

Hello All!!!


I need a speaker loud enough to be heard while jamming with my band using my HD500. I don't have any knowledge on PA speakers whatsoever.

I've read a simmilar thread http://www.jemsite.com/forums/f30/sp...t=line+6+hd500. However I need more options and brands. I'm going for stereo sound in any case.

So which PA and loud speakers should I combine?

Anything over 500 watts or over should be ample if you have a loud drummer and a guitarist with a 60 watt valve amp.

qsc k series. They are mind blowing. Even the 8 inch sounds HUGE. I was impressed needless to say. I thought about getting one to do exactly what you are trying to do.

The JBL EONs aren't too bad either, not quite as robust but plenty loud to handle medium sized gigs.

If you don't want to get a power amp and all that jazz and want something that can double as a monitor, I'd get an Alto TS112A or it's 15" variant the TS115A. I have the 12 and I can safely say that it's louder than my drummer and other guitar player.
