Little Alligator Volume Pedal Problem... - issue or not?

Well, I picked up one of these on vacation. *I've always wanted to own a volume pedal, now I've got one.

Anyway, my problem is that even when the volume pedal is all the way down (off), I still can hear my guitar ever so slightly through my amp. *I have the POT tuned all the way down too. *I also noticed that when I push the pedal forward slowly its not gradual... when the volume kicks in it's pretty loud. *Could this be a problem with the optics? *Maybe the adjustment pot?

Thanks,
Gabe

sounds like the pot is not allowing it to fully shut off. I guess it could be the pot, optics or something else. I'd email morley or do a swap. The volume swell should be gradual, like on my PVO... glen

My guess… just a guess on the non-gradual volume problem… The high gain setting on the preamp is introducing so much compression that as soon as it gets a signal and the gate lets go, its reproducing massive level. To test this, try it with a clean setting. If it still happens it’s the pedal. If not, I don’t know what to do to fix it. Maybe messing with the gate settings.

Bob, did you ever get your Bad Horsie adjusted? *Just wondering on how it worked out and if you like it better.
