Looking for new keyboard
Hey Folks,
the keyboard player in my band is looking for a new keyboard. He hasnt had a new one since the early 90's so has no idea what to look for. I said I would do some research and thought Id ask the knowledgeable forumites here.
The brief is, it has to be really really easy to use and really easy to learn how to use as he really doesnt have time to get bogged down in manuals etc.
It also has to have a good array of stellar sounds out of the box as its unlikely he will do much in the way of tweaking.
It has to be reasonably portable too as his old machine is a monster and one of the main reasons for upgrading is to get something more portable that sounds better.
Last but not least there is no upper limit on price.
so far i think the Korg M50-88 looks like a great option but would like to hear other opinions before I make my reccomendation.
