Making a Lighter Load
Hey guys, I wanted to get some feedback on an idea I had. I have been GAS'ing for a 7620, but I don't want to really bring a lot of gear to college, I kinda want to pack light. So I had the idea to maybe get the 7620, but make my rig smaller by selling my Boss Gt-Pro and maybe getting like a G-Major or G-Sharp for things like Reverb and Delay.
I use to need the Gt-Pro for the Preamp but with the legacy I do not (and yes legacy is pretty big for college but I won't have a tv or stereo and the dorms have separate rooms per person). Also I am selling some other things like my Wii and my Yamaha studio speakers with receiver that my dad gave me.
Nowadays I really only use the Gt-Pro as an EQ, Delay, Reverb and sort of an Attenuator with the Eq, but I plan on just getting a Weber for a REAL attenuator.
What would you guys do? Sell the Gt-Pro and get the G-Major, Weber Mini-Mass and the 7620? or Sell the Boss and get something else, or don't sell or buy anything? Just throw some Ideas at me.
Tell me if something I wrote is confusing, I have some flu thing that is messing with me.
