Marshall Clone?

Okay ..

this guy has a Marshall Clone amp for sale for 950 bucks and a deulxe reverb for 850. I'm looking for a badassed tube amp to match my X2N for metal.Now of course, without a pedal these amps would be weak. I'm well versed on a Deluxe reverb , but what the hell is a marshall clone ?

Looks like a late '60s 18 watt Marshall clone. Not exactly what I would consider for metal.
