Marshall Identity Trouble!

Im having trouble identifing the amp i just got of my uncle.
He came around on Sunday with a Marshall head and what looked like a 412. As i got it in my room the head turned out to be a Marshall JMP Super Bass 100 and the cab was a Marshall 212. The prob is that the cab is the siza of a 412 but has 2 12" speakers in it. (not a 412 with 2 speakers missing note)
Does anyone know what the 212 cab is??

P.S: Does anyone know how much these amps would cost in £=
Marshall JCM900SL-X head+412
Marshall 22/55 siulver jubilee head+412
Marshall JCM900 head+412

(i would like to know how much people pay for these amps 2nd hand becuase i would like to get the cheapest one- obviosly the 22/55 and the 900SL-X are going to be more exspensive, but by how much-)

The 2x12 is likely to be a 1961A (available 1988-90) which has G12T75 Celestion speakers in there.

...or...

1966A (available 1985-91) same speakers.

Both have angled/straight versions available 1961B and 1966B. This cabs made what was known as a 'mini stack'.

1961 cabs were for use with the 3315 amp

1966 for the 3210 and 3203 amps

what are those?
3210 MOSFET 100W amp available 1984-91
3315 Full size solid state amp 150W 1988-1991

Hope this helps

Can you get the serial numbers from the speakers, that will help date the cab and identify it.

As for the prices on the amps...
check www.loot.com

and the classifieds in GUITARIST magazine

Cheers

Simon
