I had the dissatisfaction of playing one a few years ago. *This unit, IMO, was Marshall's biggest mistake. *They should have stuck to making amps and cabinets. *Spend your money on something else. *The unit has all of the standard effects and are slightly tweakable. *There aren't that many parameters that you can change for each preset. *Why are you asking about them?

too late!

I have one!

I am not one for using many effects but I am not happy with my lexicon reflex.

I will be giving it a full workout over the next few days before I give a final judgement on it.

cheers

well I found it would do the effects I wanted, was midi mapable, I got some good reviews on it and I ten saw one at a good price so I thought I would give it a go and try it.

If it doesnt work out I will probably sell my lexicon reflex, Art multiverb alpha (top of the range items-not) and the jfx-1 and get something else.

I also like to experiment with gear!

cheers

I think the Marshall JFX-1 is a great bit if gear. I have used one in the past for gigging and loved it. It is so easy to use, versitile and sounds great. It's also much better value for money than some of the other units out there.

Is it correct that the JFX-1 has the same DSP chip as the Rocktron Intellifex?
