Marshall Major question for you amp techs out there..

The tubes in my Major are totally shot. I know this much. One of them turned white!

My question is, if it has absolutely no volume and is completely fizzy and **** yet not making funny noises, is my problem just tubes?

i would fist try new tubes and if their totally white yeah probelly just your tubes buy new ones and if that doesnt work take it to a repair shop.

that sounds like really old dead tube's. air has made it's way into the tube and is making it go hotter than it should..New tube's should fix it..a whole set ..
