Marshall to Announce New Model

Yep,
I hear Marshall will be launching a new line of "Vintage/Modern" amps.
I also have been told Oct 26th is the launch date, although that is not confirmed.

I'm a huge Marshall fan and look forward to checking it out!

Re: Marshall to Announce New Model

Hopefully they will come out with some high gain stuff and take back the market they used to own. It wouldnt hurt to bring the quality up a hair too. I am huge Marshall fan as well . I would like to see a High gain 30 watter or smaller that would still give me some of that vintage vibe if I needed it. A little more practicle for practice.

Re: Marshall to Announce New Model

Old news. It's supposed to be a 4 channel midi-capable amp. I wouldn't be surprised if it's an advancement of the JMP-1 technology in a full head.

Why does there always have to be an "I'm such a stud, I already knew that before you did" person

Great news I LOVE the Old Marshalls. Hopefully (for their sake) they do knock the quality up a few notches

I already drifted away from Marshall a long time ago. Laney is the only one for me.

They've already been talking about it, for a few weeks now, at the Marshall forum. From all that I've heard, the description given, here, sounds right.

Re: Marshall to Announce New Model

unless marshall starts using better components and better general construction marshall wont recreate thier former glory or sound . Of couse better construction means a premium price compounded with the fact that the british pound is so strong compared to the US dollor means that it would be 4 grand .

as i have said before you buy a new marshall your buying a name more then an amp . They are just coasting on thier former reputation and amps .

I am not saying the amp will be poorly made obviously i dont know , i certainly dont work at marshall so i can't say but my point is that the TSL and DSLs have had thier share of issues , and that if the amp is made right it probably wont be cheap but who can put a price on good tone ?

Trivium have had some of the new Marshall stuff since March now. In an interview in TotalGuitar Magazine Matt admitted that Marshall have been sending them new models of amp heads and cabs. And according to them they were pretty sweet too! I remember Trivium saying that they liked the new stuff alot from Marshall.
