I am thinking of getting one of those to compliment my mesa/boogie nomad 45 1x12, are they really that good? How much did you pay for it?

MESA 2x12 Recto cab

I went to Long & McQuade ( here in T.O.) it was $770, went to Steve's and it was $719, checked it out, there was a few nicks in the covering so I asked the guy if he could do anything about the price, I got it for $650+tx (15%). Usually they are pretty tight w/ Boogie prices, but I guess they wanted to get rid of it, I know they've had this cab for a while

Im really happy with it, good tight bass, doesn't fart out, if you crank it there is some thump. try it out.

MESA 2x12 Recto cab

Congrats!
Sounds like a good purchase.
As long as there's no mushyness at the higer vols and the clarity remains you can never ask much more from your cab.

Have you cranked her yet?

Steve

P.S. Sorry, always used Marsh cabs
